Tuesday Project: Black Templar Terminator

Taking a break from Calth for a few hours, I completed a test mini for a joint project my brother and I will be working on soon. I had some termies sitting around from the Deathstorm box that didn't fit into any of my armies, so I thought I would paint one of them up. I went with a Black Templar because the paint scheme is relatively simple. Having finished the mini now, painting a simple paint scheme was enjoyable, but the model was still a lot of fun to paint.

Latest Calth Progress

I finished the Sergeant the other day, and I'm close to completing another two marines and a third isn't far behind. I still have to do the Leadbelcher on both powerpacks for those marines.

Painting A Storm Warden

My brother came with me to the 30th Anniversary party, and he painted this Storm Warden. He's been interested in the Storm Warden's for some time, and it's always fun to do something other than First Founding or well known chapter.

Painting A Fire Angel

The 30th anniversary party that went down at Games Workshop: City Walk was a lot of fun. My brother was able to get the special 30th edition space marine. He actually got the last one the store had, so we showed up just in time.

I started to work on my space marine almost immediately. My brother and I were the first ones to begin. Eventually a handful of others had also joined us, including another set of identical twins around our age which was cool.

30 Year Anniversary Plans

Super excited about today's activities to commemorate the greatest soldiers ever created, the Space Marines. I and my brother are heading over to Games Workshop: City Walk  to celebrate. One of the main activities is getting a free Space Marine mini to paint.
